Whether you’re updating your bathroom, re-designing your kitchen or taking on a whole home transformation project, remodeling can be a huge undertaking for you and your family.

Here’s a basic outline of what to expect in a typical home remodeling project.
Assess your current house
Make a list of the good and bad aspects of your home. During this stage, enlist the help of experts to identify any potential structural issues, especially if you have noticed any warning signs, such as rotting, leaking or cracking.

Secure finances
With a home remodel, it’s important to ensure you finance the project in the most cost-effective way. It may be that you have to take out a personal loan, or that you have to refinance your current home loan using equity in your home. At Republic West Remodeling, we have a true and real understanding of actual (not estimated) costs, so when a contract is offered, the amount on the signed contract will be the same (or very close) to the cost at the conclusion of the project.
