Our Mission & Vision for Home Renovation in Phoenix

Jim Weisman, founder and owner of Republic West Remodeling, classifies his vision for home renovation projects in Phoenix as three intentions, which he calls “the big three”:

  1. To come in on budget
  2. To come in on time with the project
  3. To make the home renovation experience as stress-free as possible for the customer

It is those three intentions that form the foundation for the Republic West Remodeling business model, which is unique from the way that most home renovation companies in Phoenix operate. Our customers have told us the benefits they’ve seen from our business model include:

Education and information
It is our goal to combine the expertise of our remarkable staff with the role of being a customer’s trusted advisor to answer all questions, explore all ideas, and be a beacon of information before, during and after the home renovation project. It has been stated that a truly smart person knows what they don’t know. It is the goal of Republic West Remodeling to help expose the concerns that customers may not be aware of and help them make good decisions for themselves and their home.

Comfort presents itself in many ways. We want our customers to be comfortable with their choices, and comfortable that their ideas have been listened to, heard, and incorporated into their dream. We want our customers comfortable with the Republic West Remodeling personnel. We want our customers comfortable during the home renovation process; comfortable with the people in their home, and comfortable that their home is cared for and protected.

There are really two levels of certainty that are so critical to our customers. The first is cost certainty. By that we mean that the customer is completely aware of a project’s realistic cost before they are asked to sign a contract with Republic West Remodeling. When we talk about certainty of cost, we are talking about what a project ends up costing at a projects completion, not just at a projects signing. Cost can change during execution but at Republic West Remodeling, it will only occur if a dramatic previous unknown presents itself, which is very rare. The only other way cost can change during construction is if the customer chooses to change the scope of work.

The second level of certainty is time certainty. It is the absolute vision of Republic West Remodeling that if pre-construction planning lays out a project that should be executed in 6 weeks, that everything is done that is humanly possible to get as close to that time frame as we can. Home renovation, in the best of circumstances, is emotionally exhausting for a family and Republic West Remodeling wishes to be part of the solution to that, not part of the problem. A project Republic West Remodeling will execute in 6 weeks would normally take 4 to 6 months within the more standard remodeling business model.

Honesty and Ethics
As the three-time winner of the Better Business Bureau’s Business Ethics Award, Republic West Remodeling is built on the foundation of honesty and ethics. Fairness is always the decision making rule. No matter how detailed any agreement is written, it is critical in a process as challenging as home renovation that a customer is dealing with someone who is known and acknowledged for its honesty and ethics.

Trust presents itself at every level of the home renovation process. Trust that the customer is being heard, trust that the details are being attended to, trust that their home is in good hands, protected and cared for, and trust that everything presented and laid out by Republic West Remodeling is true.
