Cave Creek AZ Bathroom Remodeling Story
Donna has been in her home for several years and recently experienced a flood in her guest bathroom. The flood left the bathroom vanity and floors in terrible condition and the water flowed into the hallway and a nearby bedroom, causing a lot of damage.
The bathroom fixtures and walls were ruined by the water. Donna shared that the vanity was “soft and wet to the touch”.
She knew she would need to remodel the bathroom, hallway and bedroom at the same time. The décor was dated and didn’t match the rest of her gorgeous home. If she was going to have the work done, she and her family wanted a more functional and modern look.
After a Flood, Calling Republic West Remodeling Was Donna’s First Move
Donna knew Republic West Remodeling’s founder, Jim Weisman and his wife through a community organization, and decided to give them a call. Donna shared, “Jim called back right way and said, of course, we will take care of it”.
Jacque Richardson, Republic West Remodeling’s Designer, met with Donna shortly thereafter, to talk about how to handle the design and construction. Donna was impressed by Republic West Remodeling’s understanding of how to handle the damage. She liked their remodeling process and expert staff.
BEFORE
The Bathroom Remodeling Plan
Jacque delivered a beautiful 3D rendering and plan book that incorporated Donna’s requirements and added some creativity. Kathy Molnar, Republic West Remodeling’s Interior Designer, helped Donna pick out the features for the design. Donna was very happy with the new look.
The home remodeling plan included updates for the bathroom, hallway and bedroom:
- A completely remodeling and upgraded guest bathroom
- A shower rather than the old tub with a cantilevered corner bench seat
- A new countertop, sink and vanity
- New brighter lighting
- New face fronts in the hallway linen closet
- New tile floors & taller baseboards
- Fresh paint in the bathroom, hallway and bedroom
Donna was appreciative of Republic West Remodeling’s flexibility as she shifted a few of her requirements after seeing some of the elements in the space.
Donna shared that her project manager, or client advocate, Kevin Kimmerling, was also very communicative and respectful of their family living in the space while the work was done.
When asked about her remodeling experience, Donna shared, “It was easy”.

The Beautiful Bathroom Remodeling Results
Donna was very happy with her bathroom remodeling project after the flood. She shared that Republic West Remodeling was responsive, on time, on budget, and focused on making her requirements come true.
