Remodeling Contractors Must Make Customers the Top Priority

Remodeling contractorsIt seems like home remodeling horror stories are becoming more common than ever. Chances are, you or someone you know has had a nightmare experience with a home remodeling contractor. Based on the number of unsatisfied clients around, it seems like many contractors have forgotten about the old-school values of customer service and professional standards. In other words, they have stopped putting customers first.

At RW Remodeling, we value our customers and have great respect for them and their property. That’s why we created our own unique “constitution,” which we call the Remodeling Customer’s Bill of Rights.

The Remodeling Customer’s Bill of Rights is a guide by which you can set your expectations for any home remodeling project. The standards set forth in the Bill of Rights can be used to measure the performance and the experience you receive from a remodeling contractor.

Here are just a few examples of the rights you are guaranteed:

  • The right to know, before you agree to any project, what the project cost will be upon contract signing, along with a true and accurate understanding of what your project will cost upon its completion.
  • The right to know that your ideas have been heard and integrated into the process and the design.  The right to know that at a project’s completion, it will very closely resemble the renderings you were presented with when asked to sign a contract.
  • The right to have a realistic timeframe of a project’s execution from the beginning of construction to the completion of the project – a realistic timeframe that does everything possible to minimize your family’s inconvenience during the construction process.

You can review the complete Remodeling Customer’s Bill of Rights, and then contact us to see how we put it into action for your next remodeling project.
