Habitat Renovations and Republic West Remodeling Announce Merger
January 2, 2019 – SCOTTSDALE, AZ – We are pleased to announce a merger between Habitat Renovations and Republic West Remodeling effective January 1, 2019. The merger combines two talented design and remodeling teams into one entity that will greatly enhance our ability to provide excellent service to home-owners through the Phoenix metro area.
Habitat Renovations was founded in 2017 as an extension of Arizona Retail Holdings which owns Thingz Contemporary Living and Boulevard Urban Living, two upscale Scottsdale-based furniture stores. Habitat was founded in order to extend our service footprint to clients by offering interior design and home remodeling. By building on our contemporary and modern design aesthetic, we have designed and delivered wonderful kitchens, baths and whole home remodels in the past two years.
The merger was, in part, driven by our desire to improve scale in what we do and to consistently deliver well-designed projects with a high degree of quality. The combined execution teams have created an expanded production group with the capability of delivering on larger and smaller projects with home-owners feeling well-cared for throughout in the process.
Republic West Remodeling has been in business for over 22 years and has completed over 17,000 remodel jobs in that time. As a long-time kitchen, bath and whole-home remodeler, Republic West Remodeling has created a loyal following, a great construction process and terrific team of remodeling specialists.
Scott Wallace of Habitat Renovations and Jim Weisman will both remain with the company with Scott serving as CEO and Jim serving as General Manager. Their partnership is based on a similar belief in the importance of customer care and integrity. The combined business will operate as Habitat Renovations LLC dba Republic West Remodeling. The business is jointly owned by Scott Wallace and his wife and business Partner Susan Wallace.
The company will operate on a combined basis under the Habitat Renovations construction license. Previously both companies maintained a KB-2 General Contractor Dual Residential and Small Commercial license. Both companies were and remain fully license, bonded and insured with a focus on providing high-end design, excellent quality, superior value and world-class service to our clientele.
